2018 Thai Trainee Monks

We would like to welcome Venerable Phra Jirawat, Venerable Phra Maha Wirut, Venerable Phra Maha Seksan and Venerable Phra Maha Suttipong who join with the Sangha of the monastery for this Pansa ( Rain Retreat July - Oct 2018). The four monks will participate in our new trainning program to prepare them for teaching Buddhism in the West. They will learn life skill experience, English in general, English for teaching Dhamma and Meditation, Archaeological History of Buddhism etc. We are grateful with all supporters who bring food to offer this group of monks during this 3 months period. Also we thank to all volunteer English teachers who are so kind to spend their time to teach and to talk English to the monks. Hopefully, their short visit to Sunnataram Forest Monastery will inspire them to continue their spiritual parth towards inner peace of themselves and the world.
