Retreat Oct 4th - 7th 2024 Revitalize the Mind
Thank you all for being a part of this wonderful October Long Weekend retreat.
Venerable Phra Mana, all volunteers and I are so grateful for your positive energy, diligent practice and great gardening skills.
Because of your keen efforts to learn the Dhamma, Phra Mana was able to deepen our understanding of attachment, and mindfulness techniques, and to further develop our Vipassana practice.
This was a special long weekend, blessed with good weather and conditions, and we are especially grateful for your hard work to leave the monastery in a beautiful and much loved condition. A big thank you to everyone for raking, weeding, composting, sweeping, cleaning and repairing all areas of the monastery.
Please find attached group photo, with more to be available on our website soon. We hope many of you will travel to Bundanoon for our Sunday Dhamma sessions, and also return for another retreat when it suits you.
We also love to hear your feedback, so would be most grateful if you share your experiences and impressions.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
With loving kindness,
Kim

Thank you for bringing in the beautiful divine feminine energy, Kim ️
Thank you for hosting us at your meditation retreat. The temple and environment were incredibly peaceful, and the setup was clear and well-organized. The rules were easy to follow, and the volunteers were exceptionally kind, radiating calmness and a generous spirit, every meal was exceptionally delicious.
The meditation sessions were truly transformative—it felt miraculous to see my husband remain calm and practice for longer than five minutes! The retreat allowed me to see him not just as my husband but as an individual on his own journey. It was like medicine for our relationship, bringing us closer and helping us reconnect.
As for myself, Phra Mana, this retreat reawakened my belief in my nature as a Buddhist. In a world where Buddhism often feels commercialised, Phra Mana’s talk embodied true compassion and empathy, making the experience even more meaningful.
Special thanks to Kim for open your heart to us.
Kind of regards,
Mr&Mrs McClurg
Thank you Kim and Pranam and all the wonderful volunteers in the kitchen
