Dear Everyone,
Thank you for your wonderful effort to make this retreat a most enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.
Your diligence and kindness contributed to the supportive atmosphere for everyone's benefit.
Venerable Phra Mana and all volunteers rejoice with you all and hope you have had a safe journey back home, and have remembered "to dig the gold every time you breathe mindfully"
Attached please find the group photo and please let me know if you would like a copy of our Chanting Book to keep up your practice.
Please feel free to send your feedback and thoughts about the retreat.
We would all love to hear from you.
With metta,
Kim
Thank you for the email and the picture! I absolutely loved my time at the retreat. I drove home with such a feeling of peace and remembered to breathe many times.
I would love a copy of the chanting book, yes please.
I only have positive things to say about the retreat really. The gardens, the sleeping quarters, the food and dining pavilion, the well tended fires, the animals and Phra Mana’s teaching and guidance worked in such harmony together.
One of the funniest parts for me was Phra Mana saying something like: ‘If we have many beautiful camellias… and if epoxy resin is very cheap… I can get distracted by the thought of making more epoxy resin tables…’ to illustrate the importance of doing important and basic things first. It was one of many delightful and humorous moments for me.
I was lucky to come without particular expectations or goals, and I think it allowed me to absorb so much. I will continue to make mindfulness a part of my life and help others to do so. Hope to see you all again soon. Thank you to you Kim, to Ven. Phra Mana and all the wonderful volunteers and helpers. And the other retreat people! Such a great bunch.
Best regards and much Metta,
Alex
Dear Kim,
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, Venerable Phra Mana, and all the volunteers who made this retreat possible. The care, time, effort, and love that went into every aspect of the retreat were deeply felt, creating a truly welcoming and meaningful experience for everyone. I am sincerely grateful.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the retreat. Listening to the Dhamma teachings was incredibly insightful, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Venerable Phra Mana for so generously sharing his wisdom with all of us.
The food was delicious, and the monastery was a beautiful and peaceful place.
If possible, I would love to have a copy of the chanting book.
Thank you again for everything. I look forward to attending another retreat in the future.
Gratefully yours,
Carmen
