Dear Phra Mana, Kim and volunteers

Anumodana to everyone who helped

The teachings were indeed enlightening. Phra Mana is a great teacher who makes difficult concepts easy to understand and after this retreat we do feel a little wiser in following feelings and thoughts without attachment and learnt more about equanimity and non-self. We feel blessed to have such a beautiful place to practice the dhamma and really appreciate  the hard work that goes into maintaining the gardens, the huts and facilities with such great care which is no easy feat. Thank you Kim for all your dedication in the smooth running of the retreat. Thank you to the lovely volunteers who spend their precious time cooking delicious meals for us which makes us enjoy the simple delights.

Much merit to all of you.

Dear Kim

I just wanted to thank everyone for such a wonderful retreat over Easter. I appreciated all the care and effort that went into making it so special - the volunteers and the gardens and the time and energy that Phra Maha gave us. I benefitted a great deal from the retreat and i’m very grateful.

Dear Kim

Just a note to thank Phra Mana, yourself and all the volunteers for a wonderful Easter retreat.

I had been feeling quite bruised by all the terrible things happening in the world at the moment.

It was so helpful to be reminded that I can use my breath, and mindfulness to find a calmness that can hold me steady in uncertain times. And then the concentration can develop to help me see deeply and notice my attachments and self centredness. In particular it's my attachment to my ideas that's been bringing me suffering.

I'm using this photo as my screen saver - so the Monastery is always in front of me!
