Dear Everyone,
Rejoice with your practice of the best meditation technique, Anapanasati, mindful breathing, that leads to both calmness of mind and wisdom.
The purpose of practice is to awaken consciousness, so that the whole mechanism of unhappiness will collapse.
Don't try to drop attachment, but instead, try to see impermanence and see that things depend on conditions.

Thanks once again to yourself, Hon.Phra Mana and all the monks at the weekend retreat for spending your time in helping us.

 

Can I please get a copy of the Paticcasammupada diagram sheet?

 

I still think I want to do a longer weekend retreat next time instead of the weekend one but I am not sure when I can make it though. I will let you know.

 

Also is it possible to ask Hon.Phra Mana a question on my behalf? I didn't ask on the last day as we were running short of time for the Dhamma talk.

 

When doing concentration of breathing we are not supposed to force any changes to the breathing rather just observe it, first we do the long breath and then focus on the air going in and out,  but when we are deep into it, at some point we don't feel the breath or any movements, at that stage were are we supposed to be concentrating on?

Hi Kim,

 

Good morning and thank you for the photographs.

 

In this retreat, I learn quite a lot from Ajahn Mana and it actually helps to refresh my previous retreat a few years ago. I will keep practising Anapanasati, mindful breathing and tai chi qi kung.

 

If possible, I would like either a hard or soft copy of the Chanting Book, please.

I would also like to say Thankyou to Phra Mana, Resident & Trainee Monks, Yourself and The Group for an amazing peaceful and enlightening weekend. 

All the efforts we really appreciated.

I felt I took a lot away from the weekend .The teaching was relayed by Phra Mana in a way that made learning for me - an easy understanding that I can use in my daily life - more Peaceful.
